never should have looked.

I am dumb.  I mean really, really dumb.  I know what home videos of my babies do to me, and yet I opened it.  I should have just stopped and went on to clean my kitchen, finish folding laundry, ANYTHING, but open up this video…

There is probably nothing that gets me more than hearing little children singing praises to God.  Honestly, it melts my heart.  There are times that I can’t even hold it together when leading them in vacation bible school or Wednesday evening church praise and worship.  Jesus said “let the little children come to me”.  And I know why!  What an example of faith they are.  Precious little sponges that soak up everything you tell them, and believeit.  I know that is what Jesus wants from us.  He wants us to know how much He loves us.  He wants us to soak up his word and believe it.  We can get ourselves so wrapped up in the things that don’t really matter.  When it’s really very simple.  The bible does tell us that Jesus loves us.  The bible tells us and shows us how to live a life like Jesus wants.  Child-like faith is where it’s at people!

This is a video of Landon when he was about 2 1/2 years old.  We had just gotten this puppy, Holly.  This dog was oh so loved, by all of us.  She was one thing that did not survive our move to town and it devastated our kiddos.  So, seeing this is so bittersweet for me on so many levels.  But more than anything, it shows me how at a very young age, little children are learning to love God.  Learning what it means to follow a life centered around Jesus.  I can’t hold it together.  I want every child on this earth to know and believe just how much Jesus loves them.  We know Holly knew!
