Monthly Archives: December 2013

I don’t even know exactly what all is on this sale, because I am trying to post this for you all to see before the New Year’s Eve parties begin.  I will tell you, that the candlestick vases which were so HUGELY popular are BACK.  Did you hear that?  They are back!!!  And at the best price ever.  $18 for the pair!!  I bet I have someone ask me each time I have a gathering in my home if they are still available. Well, they are.  But I am here to tell you, things go very quickly.  I will be putting an order in tomorrow for those who find something and want to guarantee you get what you want.  I’m excited to check out everything more closely.  There are some items that are up to 80% off!  Did you hear me?  This is the biggie.  Don’t miss out!  Do you love the Puzzle Card Sets as much as I do?  A way to bless someone 9 times over?  They are ONLY $5!!!!!  You better believe I am stocking up on these.  They are wonderful gifts as well.  And for 5 bucks?  You can’t go wrong.  Ok, ok.  No more talking.  Just take a look…

(actually, ALL charms are on sale)

As always, you can place your order through me.  Or directly through my website.  (link in comments on facebook or comment and I will send to you—wordpress doesn’t allow business links.)

IF you’d like to grab orders of your own, I’ll treat it like your own gathering.  At a $100 order, you get a half price of your choice.  And the rewards just keep getting better from there.  Print out a flyer, show your friends, and be your own hostess—without any hassle!

But HURRY!  Quantities are limited.

SAVE the DATE–January 8

Man, I love it when things rhyme, don’t you?!  HA!

Wednesday, January 8th will be another ALL DAY long customer appreciation gathering.  Guessing my family’s favorite soup will be on the menu and chocolate covered cherries will be showing themselves for the dessert bash portion of the evening.  Invitation and flyer are coming soon.  I’ve already named this gathering.  Ready for it?

That’s right.  I’ve been waiting for the shoe to drop.  And it has.  In a BIG, BIG, way.  He wants the stuff GONE.  He wants his loft back.  And I don’t blame him.  So soon, I promise, I will have pictures and super prices on Mary & Martha inventory and maybe even some cool Dayspring items that need new homes.

Do you know why this is happening?  Did you know that in less than 3 weeks I get to go back to San Antonio to see what is new in Mary & Martha products for 2014?

Did you know that Mary & Martha is having their HUMONGOUS SEMI-ANNUAL Sale beginning January 1st?

No, you didn’t know that.  Because I don’t have all of the details until tomorrow.

So you’re gonna want to come back.  I promise you, you do.

And…you’re gonna want to mark Wednesday, January 8th.  I promise you, you do.

And you’re gonna want to schedule a gathering, I promise you, you do.  Because these sale prices are crazy.  And things go quickly.  And you could earn some free and half-price product and use your Christmas $$.  And you’ll have much left over to spare.  Because these prices are incredible.

For a teaser on MY inventory—anyone looking for the weathervane?

Blessings Unlimited weathervane

Yellow vases?  Taupe vases? Small lazy susan?  COFFEE anyone?

Jewelry—including one more pair of Cross Hoop Earrings (my fave–I just found an extra!!)

Praying you were blessed this Christmas and that you are as excited as I am to jump into 2014!!

(and wouldn’t it be great to get ALL of your Christmas shopping done for next year?  We can dream, right!)

THIS is why God gave me girls…

I know there are many reasons I was blessed with three sweet girls. Sometimes, I wonder if it was because I was such a peach for my parents as they raised me—and I am getting a taste of my own, um, “sweetness”—three times over. I know that they were each placed specifically in our family for a very special purpose. I know I was chosen to be their mom. To teach them to love Jesus, to be the best girls they can be to their friends, to others, and to be a light in this world. I know that there are challenges and we will continue to have challenges. Because, let’s face it—three girls in the tween and teen stage? Um, yeah.

And then God sends along a huge blessing in disguise. Three girls who all wear the same size shoe as their momma. Now that is a gift. And THAT is a gift I capitalized on this Christmas. Thanks to Mary & Martha, I have some humongous boxes come my way each week. And after a few months of shopping, I came up with 5 pairs of shoes/boots that I believed fit all of our styles in one way or another. And you know, a literal BIG gift under the tree, is always fun, no matter what your age. And with these shoes/boots? No one can say “No, you can’t wear MY shoes”. Because ALL of the shoes are ALL of ours.

Now when we all want to wear the same shoe on the same day? (not likely I will be vying to wear the cowgirl boots) THEN, will be our chance to thank God for giving us challenges of three girls and a chance to remember what a blessing they are…

join me, won’t you?

Another opportunity to become a Mary & Martha consultant at an amazing price…

I would love to talk with you about this opportunity. I would love to have you join my team of awesome women. I would love to give you the chance to spread Jesus to the homes of others. I would love to go on awesome trips with you. I would love to help you earn extra money each month. I would love to spend Summer Jam and leadership conferences being inspired and energized with you. Have I convinced you yet?

The $100 investment I made a year and a half ago I would do again and again. And at $50? Do you feel that nudge? Obviously, Mary & Martha believes in building their army of women across this nation to being beautiful products and the promise of hope and love of Jesus to as many as possible…

It’s easy. The risk is $50. The blessings are many. Won’t you join me?

brinks in Her Jammie’s means…

It’s Christmas Lights Night in the winter wonderland!

As the kids get older, our creativity needs to bump up a level—because sending them to bed to find wrapped Jammie’s was not happening oh so well. So up the stairs they were placed as we called the kids upstairs.

‘Twas the year of sweaty feet with the requested footie pjs. And I will tell you, finding Landon’s size that was not super hero related was quite the experience. Thank you Sears in Hutchinson—-my very last stop right after work yesterday morning.

The snowy weather took us to a very close neighboring town that had a Sonic. Hot chocolate was an epic fail this year as there was something else that took up all of my time last evening…

A homemade Chocolate Covered Cherry recipe from a friend. I know they are amazing. And I know why you only make them ONE time a year. Hours spent and I haven’t even dipped them yet.

Another Christmas Lights Night in the books—-and it even happened BEFORE Christmas this year!

we must stop this madness.

If you keep a schedule with a high school and/or junior high student, you will know exactly what I am talking about.  Something doesn’t feel quite right…but do I ever like it!

Dinner together for the 2nd evening in a row? Wow!!!

It’s a baking frenzy at our house. You may have found me today rockin’ Christmas songs at the top of my lungs and chewing gum as to not lick the yumminess off my fingers, pots, pans, and countertops…

And let me tell you something about my friend, Marie.  If she gives me a tried and true recipe—there is no doubt it’s going to be good.  So these little almond shortbread filled cookies have been baking in my kitchen ever since the tip.  It was a Pinterest recipe that we tweaked by using Cherry Pie Filling instead of jam.  So yummy and so Christmasy!!  Thanks Marie!  You can find the exact recipe here: Almond CHERRY Shortbread Cookies.

Teacher cookie plates—CHECK!  It’s one week until Christmas—and right now I am really wishing we had weeks of anticipation and celebration ahead…
